"Study to show thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth."
2 Timothy 2:15

2012—2013 Year
Beginning September 12th
Preschool – High School

As a parent, you will appreciate Awana for many reasons.

You will know your child is being led in a structured, well-prepared, achievement based program which may enhance reading comprehension skills needed for tests such as the MSA, SAT, and ACT. Materials are superbly written, designed to stimulate involvement and enjoyment in learning.

Our goal is to reach boys, girls and teens with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. If that is a goal you have for your child or youth, please take a closer look at the Awana program (kids clubs and youth ministry). For reasons that are evident in the success of 20,000 Awana Clubs worldwide, you will want your son or daughter to attend Awana as much as they want to attend themselves.

Week by week they will learn and grow as they study God’s Word. How fast? To some extent that is up to you.  Experience shows that parental involvement makes a big difference in each student’s progress. So let them know you are behind them. Make it a point to purchase their uniform as soon as they're eligible. Meet their leaders, participate in parent orientation and special parent night activities during the club year and encourage weekly attendance and serious study of their handbook lessons.

WHEN DO WE MEET?

All clubs meet on Wednesday evenings starting September 12th

  • 6:00pm Registration/Check-in
  • 6:30pm Clubs Begin
  • 8:00pm Clubs End/Pick-up

A light dinner will be provided free of charge each week for all students at 6pm effective Wednesday, September 26th.

WEEKLY CHECK-IN POLICY

We take seriously the care and safety of the students enrolled in our clubs. For this reason, we will require an authorized adult to sign in AND sign out ALL students every week. A parent may sign a release form for youth ages 16 or older which will allow youth to sign themselves in and out without the presence of a parent or authorized adult.
